All:
I'm advocating Cisco Unified Communications as a solution for a company that has a private IP network (running private fiber to most locations) thousands of phones, one or more call centers with tens to a hundred plus agents, a Cisco network infrastructure... I've worked with Cisco CallManager 3.3 and 5.1 and Cisco Unity.
BUT... other parties are pushing the Microsoft / Nortel solution (Nortel is the incumbent voice vendor) as potentially cheaper, just as full functioned (which I don't believe), and just as stable (which again, I don't believe).
Is there any Cisco vs. MS / Nortel Unified Communications papers out there?
