Has anyone run into issues connecting a Cius to Exchange?

Hi Glenn,

Yes, we ran into a roadblock no matter how we tried. In the end, I found mentions of a known issue with 9-2-1 firmware on the Cius that caused enterprise Exchange connections to fail. We upgraded to the 9-2-2 firmware, and just like that all devices were able to get Exchange working. If you're not on 9-2-2, give that a try. Hope that helps.

We ran into an issue last fall when we got our Cius devices. We ended up following the process below to remedy it.

1) Remove the Android mobile devces affected from each users mailboxes.

2) Remove the Default (and any other ActiveSync) policy using EMC -- Remove-ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy -id

Note: this will set all user to no activesync policy (this is what we want temporarily)....

3) Setup the Andriod phones to sync and let them get past the initial syncronization.

4) Recreated the ActiveSync Policy and set it back to default - (this will reapply the policy to all mailboxes).
