yes, creating a message profile to get into that account is the best way to go. Of course the prefered thing to do here is to make sure that someone else is getting those messages... the Example administrator accoutn is just a default holding place and folks should designate an internal administrator to receive messages going to the unaddressed messages distribution list, operator box etc... there's a series of steps documented in the administration guide that covers how to do this.
by default the Example administrator doesn't have an NT account associated with their exchange account. The only PW involved out of the box is a phoen password and it's default is "12345" if you want to check those messages over the phone.
