Clearing a call in IOS

Is there any way to force clear (i.e. hang up) a call on a E1? I just want to clear one specific call, without shutting down the whole controller. I tried doing it on the gatekeeper, but it doesn't clear the call on the gateway.

Re: Clearing a call in IOS

If you have as an example-

ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-31.....

You have to shut the voice port down to clear the call. But it will clear all of the calls on that E1. To get around this you can build a DS0-group for every channel on the e1. That way you will have a voice-port for every channel. The problem there is you need dial-peers for each one. So the configuration will get long.

So the answer is no you cant shut a port on the e1 to release the call unless you change the configuration.
