CLID on MGCP Gateways

Hi

I have Callmanager 3.3(3) sr4. I have just installed another PRI MGCP gateway at a remote site.

Incoming and Outgoing CLID is not working correctly.

Incoming: I want to be able to prefix "10" to the incoming DDI CLID so the IP phone user can redial the last number. eg: Incoming CLID 43825516 to be "1043825516"

also

Outgoing CLID for the DDI extn 44516 to be 043825516 rather than displaying only the DDI pilot on outgoing 043825500.

I have set up the external phone mask on extn 44516 as 0438155xx for outgoing calls and Prog new Partition "DDI-Translation" and CSS called DDI-Translation then a tranlsation pattern xxxxxxx (7digits) , partition called "DDI-translation" , calling trans mask 10xxxxxxx , CSS same as phone CSS

The MGCP gateway then prog with CSS DDI-Translation

Gateway reset

Still no joy

has anyone got any ideas

ta

Steve

Hi Steve,

your first question looks like I had the same problem before.

My solution was to set, in your case 10, in the parameter "Service - Service Parameter - Service Cisco CallManager - Advanced - National Number Prefix"

I hope it will work in your case too.

For the second problem unfortunately I do not have any solution, I wait for a solution too.

Hope I could help you a little.
