Cluster Directory Number

Hi there,

I got two Call Managers with ver 3.3.3 configured as a cluster. May I ask that is it necessary to configure different range of Starting Directory Number and Ending Directory Number for these two Call Managers? Or is it good just configure the same range of Starting Directory Number and Ending Directory Number for these two Call Managers.

I assume that you are referring to Auto-registration. The Starting Directory Number and Ending Directory Number are only used for auto-registration. Essentially, auto-registartion should only be enabled on one Callmanager (or none if you don't want auto-registeration; it is a potential security hole). The Directory Numbers specified do not matter on a CCM that has Auto-registration disabled.
