Clustering over IP

Is there any distance limitation for Clustering CCM over IP. If publiser is in Location A, and Subscriber is in Location B. Is there any distance limitation in miles. I understand the RTT has to be 20ms for one way, and 40ms for 2-way, but don't know if there is any physical distance limitation.

Regards,

Re: Clustering over IP

keep the RTT below the recommendations and you'll be OK.

some cisco docs tend to recommend keeping these devices in the same VLAN but i've had much success with multiple VLANs as well as geographically separate locations.

i've found no distance limitations other than delay.
