hi!

my cm ver is 4.1.3 and,

phone ver is 8.0.3. phone model is 7961.

after reset via callmanager admin,

any phones do not registered.

at phone's web page, i saw debug message.

message is " cm-closed-tcp".

it means cm do not permit tcp 2000 with phones.

why does CM send message ?

I believe the CM-Closed-TCP message you see is because the phone lost TCP connection with the CallManager when you reset the CM.

As far as why phones aren't registering, is TFTP serer up? Is there connectivity from the cm to the phones? is the CM service running?

of course. tftp server is up.

only,i reset via cm. cm service is good.

thanks.

If you have DHCP set up with an array of TFTP servers, make sure you have a reference to ALL the servers that are running TFTP in both the array and your router / switch config if you are running DHCP from your IOS.
