CME and conferencing

Is it possible to have multiparty conferencing - Not meet me but -

phone a - calls phones b and conferences phone c and then add another phone d into the conference ?

"max-conferences" set the total number of 3 party conferences you can have simultaneously.

Is it possible to do hardware conferencing using DSP chips and "sccp" commands (I know it works for transcoding between g729 and g711).

This is a single site CME installation, so all phones are using g711.

Re: CME and conferencing

howdy. There is currently no way to accomplish this with CME. I opened a TAC case recently on this and the TAC engineer said that CME 4.x is going to increase the participants to somewhere around a max of 8 participants.
