CMe with Remote Unity integration

Have a small (5 set) CME site that will need to use the corp unioty server at HQ for vxmail.

Will use PSTN for this. There is a small 56k frame data wan.

How can we do this?

PSTN for all calls is ok until the WAN gets upgrade next year, but how can we get MWI on/off? Can we use the wan for some simple signalling for unity, but carry voice over the pstn? ie No rtp over the frame 56.

Any tips would be great.

Cme 3.3 btw, UNity 4.02 at hq site, CCM 3.34 there as well.

thks

Jason

Re: CMe with Remote Unity integration

I have a kind of similar environment with the difference of a 10MB wireless link between the CME and the UNITY/CCM Servers.

What I decided was to configure the CME as SRST and configure connection plar to the FXO ports in the local router pointing to a route point in the CCM which is forwarded to UNITY.

If the local phones are registered to the CCM, the MWI policy has to work as well, but I have not tested this although.
