I have a CMM with 6 E1 installed in a Cat 6509. These E1s are connected to an MD110 PABX. The CMM E1s are MGCP endpoints defined in CallManager 3.3(3)SR2. I have been able to integrate between the two voice networks and successfully establish calls. However when a call is made from an IP phone to an MD110 extension I do not hear ringback tone.
I am running 12.2(13)ZC on the CMM and it is not possible to apply progress_ind commands to the POTS dial peer with this code.
under the properties for the endpoint(s) under the PRI protocol type specific information there is a checkbox for Setup non-ISDN Progress Indicator IE Enable which states "may be required to force ringback from some PBXs". Have you confirmed this is checked?
This is an E1 connection configured with PRI Protocol Type of "PRI ISO QSIG E1". The MD110 is providing clock so the endpoint is configued as "User". Other than the significant digits and the Calling Search Space, no other parameters on the endpoint have been configured. Just the standard E1 and MGCP configuration on the CMM.
