Codec Packet Size

I have a Dial-Peer on a ios gateway, when i change the bytes per packet i.e. "Codec g711ulaw bytes 240" I can make one call, and afterwords the port sticks in an off hook state (FXS Port) and I get DSP timeouts basically. I have tried this on a 2651XM and a 3745. Running 3 different versions of code. I changed the service parameter in CallManager for G711 to 30 and same thing. I have to reboot the router to recover the port, but again after a single call, same thing. Any ideas?

Re: Codec Packet Size

Have you changed the packet size for the codec on both the ends. It should be same on both the ends. Else it results in codec mismatch.

Also check the following document for troubleshooting codec issues.
