Are there any references to assist with creating the common patterns for route patterns. For example a reference that says 9.1.800XXXXXXX should be normaly allowed or 9[0-1]XXX976XXXX should be blocked. I just want to make sure that I'm not missing anything.
There are no clear rules for route patterns. Depending on size and complexity of dialing plan you can explicitly define route patterns and/or use NANP (North American Numbering Plan) with filters. Try to avoid overlapping patterns.
