Conference Call Question

I have a customer with a newly installed CM3.13a

system. When they are doing a three party conference, and the third party drops off, they want

some indication that the third party is actually gone.

Is there anyway to do this?

Re: Conference Call Question

I don't know of a way to do this. The phone will say conference until the call is hung up. So it want go back to the dialed number or the calling party.

Thank you,

Re: Conference Call Question

I guess the bottom line is that they want to know how many active callers are in the conference. I agree, that once the conference has been setup, it would take a bit of work to restore the call to a standard two party stream.

If there could be some indicator on the IP phone to identify the number of parties (endpoints) currently involved in the conference, it would probably satisfy the customer.

Is there any standard way to request this functionally from Cisco?
