Conference Connection AppAdmin Login problem

I am trying to login to the AppAdmin Administration site on my Conference Connection server and receive this error:

AvvidProcCtl.AvvidProcCtl.1 error '80004005'

QueryServiceConfig failed (1783): The stub received bad data.

/AppAdmin/global.asa, line 34

Can anyone tell me why I get this error and how I can fix this so that I may login. I am using the Windows NT username and password to login to this web page as recommended by the CCC Admin Guide.

This is a new server.

CCC ver 1.2(2)sr1

Thanks

Monica

I’m assuming that this started happening after you applied some of the latest OS patches.

There is an article on CCO about this, but I can’t find it at the moment. I had the same problem recently. You need to install the “Cisco CallManager Extended Services 2.2(5) Support Patch B” found on CCO at

http://ftp.cisco.com/cisco/voice/ccra/2.2/icd-ivr-aa.2-2-5-spB.exe

This will fix you right up.

I tried loading this patch and got back the message that I am not running 2.2(5). Without logging in to the AppAdmin main page, I am not sure as to how to find out which version is running. Any idea?

Thanks

Monica,

Check to see if the Windows Hot Fix Q274450 is installed on the Conference Connection box. If so this is the cause of your problems. You have two options, either install the patch that I mentioned earlier or remove the Windows Hot Fix Q274450 from the box. Refer to the following URL http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps752/prod_release_note09186a008018e2e0.html

Paul

Hi Paul,

I don't see Q274450 or KB274450 on my CCC server. I am, however, running 2000.2.5sr6.

Monica

Hi Paul,

I am able to log into the AppAdmin site on my new CCC server since installing the spB for 2.2(5). The patch wasn't working on the old server so I have now taken that on out of the equation.

Thanks so much for all your help!

Monica

Fantastic, glad to hear it. One more tip, install the new jtapi client on the CCC server from CCM.

Regards,

Paul
