config TSP for ITS routerr

Hi,
I need help to config TSP for connectivity between Unity VM and IP Telephony Service (ITS) router. Problem is: TSP config asks for username and password but when I define the same username/password as in telephone service parameters of ITS router, got complaint "incorrect username/passord" when reboot Unity server. Please help to understand what username/password does TSP look for ? Thank you very much.
Duc Vu

Re: config TSP for ITS routerr

What TSP are you installing? The Unity TSP (which is the one you need to install) does not ask for username or password. You can get the TSP here:

Re: config TSP for ITS routerr

Hi Keith,

I'm doing Unity with IP Telephony Service (Keyswitch router), no CallManager involved. Here is the Cisco web site where I download the TSP as instructed by Cisco manual. Select Download Individual ITS files then

Problem is: in TSP screen, it requests for username/password so I put in the same as login account on Unity server, also I config ITS router the same but it complains wrong username/password when I reboot the server.
And here is the Cisco manual for ITS config.

Thank you very much for help.

Re: config TSP for ITS routerr

the CiscoIOSTSP file that you downloaded isn't for Unity, it's for TAPI clients connecting to the ITS router. The terminology is confusing with this, but from the Unity perspective, you are integrating with a "CallManager" (even though this happens to be an ITS router). So on the unity server, you'll select the AVCiscoTSP to install, not the CiscoIOSTSP file that you have. Just follow all Unity instructions for integrating with a Callmanager and you'll be fine.

Re: config TSP for ITS routerr

You're absolutely correct. Yesterday after a moment of frustration, I uninstalled CiscoIOSTSP then installed CiscoUnityCMTSP6.0.1 and TSP works fine - test ran ok. From IP phone, pushing the "Messages" button I will hear the Unity Greeting. However calls from other IP phones or PSTN keep ringing without transfer to Unity VoiceMail. I'm working on this issue today. Thanks for help.
