configuring DSP for conference

i am having the hardest time configuring DSP services on my 2801.

i going ena - conf t - voice-card 0 - dsp services dspfarm - then this happens 2801(config-voicecard)#dsp services dspfarm

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

i know sccp is enabled.

i know there is nothing wrong with the router or DSP's.

i've been using this document as a guide

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios123/123cgcr/vvfax_c/callc_c/ccm_c/intcnf2.htm#wp103251

thanks in advance.

Re: configuring DSP for conference

Do you have any other voice ports installed in the router? How many dsps do you have?

Re: configuring DSP for conference

Jerry - Cisco has a useful tool called the DSP calculator located at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/DSP/cisco_prodsel.pl

Plug in your router specifics and it will provide you with the correct configuration command lines to get your conferencing up and running.

Re: configuring DSP for conference

Is that IPVOICE IOS loaded in your 2801?

Use "sh diag" to make sure the router recongize the PVDM module u install.

Re: configuring DSP for conference

IP Voice IOS has better handle about voice related command, module, etc.

If you can try to load IPVOICE IOS, see if solove your problem.

Thanks

Ken
