Connecting CME 4.0 to Voice Gateway

I have a 2600XM running CME 4.0 and a 1760 with 2 FX0 and 1 FXS card. Both routers are running IOS 10.4(9)T. I would like the 1760 to act as a gateway using H.323. Can anyone advise me on how to set this up?

So you are running CME on the 2600 and you want to send h323 calls to 1760 ? PSTN calls, internal calls, are they in teh same lan or are they across a wan circuit ?

Re: Connecting CME 4.0 to Voice Gateway

Sankar,

Thanks for the quick response. I will give this a try, but I'm confused as to how the CME router will know to forwards call to the voice gateway router for outgoing calls and vice versa for incoming calls without some IP addresses being involved.

Ray

Thanks for the response. I will give this a try.

Re: Connecting CME 4.0 to Voice Gateway

I forgot to put the session target commands in there. The configs i posted will work only for outbound calls. I will get you the inbound configs here soon.

In the 2600, under dial-peer voice 1 add the following command

"session target " .
