Connecting MC3810 MFT to a 3640 with a NM-HDV-1E1-30 poor voice quality

Hi,

I am connecting a MC3810 E1MFT to a 3640 with a NM-HDV-1E1-30. The MC3810 has analog phones connected to it via FXS ports and is acting as a PBX for classroom demonstration. I am using cas signalling with a DS0-group using timeslot 1-31 and E&M-winkstart signalling.

When I make calls between the two routers the calls are highly distorted and there is a lot of background noise.

If I use two MC3810's back to back there is no problem.

Is there some command I need for the NM-HDV-1E1-30 ?

The two devices should interoperate with no problems.
