Connecting MOD30 to CallManager

I have a client that has an existing MOD30 that they would like to interface to a new CallManager and Unity system that is being installed.

Their question is this. Are there any functionality issues on the MOD30 phones that will no longer function? For instance, can CallerID digits be passed back and forth, can voicemail lights on the MOD30 phones be lit by Unity, and any other functionality questions you can think of?

The final call transfer scenario you should understand is what happens with a call placed from a Cisco Unified CallManager to a Cisco Unified CME system that is then transferred to a second Cisco Unified CME system (see Figure 7-5). In this case, the first Cisco Unified CME detects that the call is from a Cisco Unified CallManager. As a result, it invokes VoIP-to-VoIP Cisco IP-to-IP Gateway or hairpin routing to provide the call path.
