connection plar & ip ivr

To all GURUs

the scenario is this

nortel pabx --vg--call mgr--ip ivr

E1 CONFIG USED

************controller E1 7/6

************* ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type fxs-ground-start

Problem scenario 1, we cannot make "incoming call" running even if we used dial peers (incoming to the ip ivr from the pabx side).

after using 'connection plar" & redirecting the call to the ip ivr number, it work. BUT, we can only hear the IP IVR prompt & could not interact with that (i mean sending or pressing any options).

are we on the right track? i mean it is ok to use "connection plar" for IP ivr apllication?

tks a lot

Re: connection plar & ip ivr

I don't think, using connection plar for IP ivr should cause any problem. I feel, there is some other problem. You can try some of these debugs and point out where exactly the error is occuring. This might help further troubleshooting.

debug modem csm

debug voip ccapi in

debug vtsp all

debug voip ivr

debug csm voice

debug csm modem

Thanks.

Re: connection plar & ip ivr

Do you have DTMF relay configured on your VoIP dial-peers that are pointing to CallManager?

Without it the IVR will not get information on the digits you key.

Could you post a sample of your VoIP dial-peers?

Thanks,

Justin

Re: connection plar & ip ivr

What is your IVR Route Point's DN? You shouldn't need a connection plar if your integration to the PBX is E1. For example, if your IVR Route Point is 5000, a PBX phone dials 5000, it hits the VG200 and the VG200 takes the digits 5000, matches your VOIP Dial peer (which you should change to something more specific than ".") and sends 5000 to CallManager. In your voip dial-peer try using one dtmf-relay option at a time. Also, make sure you have this command as well voice rtp send-recv One way voice could be your problem as well.
