Console Access Server Recommendations

Anyone know any good console access servers that allow dialup as well as lan access? Dial access is unfortunantly required so security's a big concern. My requirment is an out-of-band management for up to 8 devices over a single pots line. I've been looking at boxes from BayTech and Cyclades. Has anyone played with these or worked with something better?

Tks

How about a good old 2509 or 2511?

Yup, that'd do it. I'm looking for something a bit less expensive, though. The other stuff I'm looking at would cost about $1k all told, I'm not sure what a 2509 goes for (weren't they discontinued?)

Thanks,

Re: Console Access Server Recommendations

Yes, I don't think Cisco sells them anymore. I tried looking around for some. I looked around and found this page:

It's not quite as inexpensive as you were looking for but not too bad. I went to google and searched for "cisco 2509 price" and found a hit on the first page that was even lower than that.

Also I went on eBay and found a number of 2509s (all somewhat used, I am sure) for considerably less than $1k.

Not as expensive as I thought. Add a modem and I'm still around $2k. Cool, thanks for the input.
