Controlled Device when using dummy mac with TAPS

Is it possible to have a user associated with a phone when using BAT and TAPS (dummy macs)

The i can get this to work and am confused. As there is a field that says Controlled Device Name 1..

Correct me if Im wrong though I think this the fiel needed to make the device (phone) association with a user.

If we are using dummy macs we wont know the device name is this correct.?

So we cant do a phone / user association.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Controlled Device when using dummy mac with TAPS

I had the same problem and had to do it manually on all phones config page

BAT has the phone with users but this just populates the "user config" page with a "controlled devise" instead of the phone config page with the user.

TAC gave me a bug which I don't have
