CoS Config on Catalyst 3524XL-EN

I am trying to configure CoS on 6 Catalyst 3524 (two with GBIC as trunk) for voice priorisation. Are there any config guides available? Also, can I configure an input and output service-policy on the interface (for bi-directional traffic)? How do I verify if the CoS works?
