CP-7935 problem

Hi

I want to config a Conference IP phone CP-7935. I connect to callmanager. In the callmanager, I don't have any configuration. But, Auto-registration and DHCP is configed.

After the upgrade, the CP-7935 hold on the screen. The screen is show below.

First, I try to connect to the CM ver 3.1(3a).

And then I try to connect to the CM ver 3.3(3). But it is same symptom. Is CP-7935 problem ?

What phone load are you using? We had the same problem. Check out this info. Apparently, you can run P00503010300 on all CM's.

Upgrade Path for P00503010300

You can perform a straight upgrade from the P00503010200, P00503010100, P005A302, P005B302, P005C302, or P005W301 releases to the P00503010300 release. To ensure a successful upgrade to the P00503010300 release from an earlier release, follow the instructions in the next section.

Upgrade from Releases Earlier than P005W301

To upgrade to the P00503010300 release from releases earlier than P005W301, you must upgrade in this order:

Upgrade to the P005A302 release first

Then upgrade to the P00503010300 release

If you do not upgrade in this order, the upgrade will fail and a failure message will be displayed on the IP Conference Station LCD display screen.

I found that the Load is found in the Callmanager Ver 3.3(3). If my callmanager version is 3.2(2c)or below. May I change the load at the callmanager for upgrade?? If I change, can the load run on callmanager version 3.2 or below ???

Hi,

As far as i am aware, yes, the load will run on 3.2(2c). Just make sure you follow the correct upgrade procedure outlined, otherwise it will fail again.

Please note, last time we got the error message on one of our phones, we had to order a replacement phone beacsue none of the buttons seemed to work anymore. The screen was just frozen.
