CSS Question

Guys,

I have a CSS question. We are running CCM 4.1(3)…There are 50 individual sites w/ 4 CSS per site for a total of 200 CSS. We are adding a new site and I need to add the new site’s partition to the 200 existing CSS’s. My question is, Is there a way to add this partition to all CSS’s w/ say BAT or some other way…Right now it is looking like I will need to add this partition to each CSS manually, one at a time….Which is a bummer

Thanks in advance for your input!!

One way to cut down on future administration is to make all internal phones part of the same partition and assign this partition to all CSSs. This would allow any phone to call any other internal phone. The only issue would be if you have a need to restrict calls from one location to another. I don't know of any way to update CSSs in bulk, so in your case, it's going to require some manual work either way you go. Making all phones part of the internal partition and adding this partition to all CSSs would just cut down on the work required to bring up future sites.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Thanks,

Brandon
