I saw a requirement in CCM 4.0 SRND about the CTI Manager. It should be enable only on the call processing subscribers. Does that mean I can NOT turn on CTI Manager service without Call Manager service turned on? I tried it on CCM 4.0, it seems ok but I haven't tested it.
In CCM 3.3(5), I can NOT turn on CTI manager service without Call Manager service turned on. It will take a long time to try to active the serice but will fail. So I turned on the CallManager service with CTI manager, and shut off the Callmanager service, the CTI manager still runs but when you reboot the server, the CTI manager will fail to start.
So my feeling is, CTI manager CAN NOT run without Callmanager service. I just want to verify this.
