CTI Port Usage

I noticed everytime a call is placed internally to the CSQ it goes to the next CTI port. This happens until reaching the last CTI port (20) and is then sent to Unity on the next call. I do not have a voice mail box set up for that route point so I can't figure out why it is doing this along with the fact that I am not sure why the CTI ports are not reset.

Also, occasionally the call will go directly to Unity without going through all the ports.

Any ideas ?

Re: CTI Port Usage

Do you have Forward on Failure or CFB configured on your Route Point or any of your CTI Ports?

Re: CTI Port Usage

What is forward on failure? The Route point itself does not have any Call forward instructions.

THE LINE(dn) ON THE ROUTE POINT/PORT DOES THOUGH

Re: CTI Port Usage

You are correct but what I meant was I had nothing explicity configured.

Re: CTI Port Usage

I would be curious how a route point or port would even know of unity's existance without Forwarding info.
