CUC cannot import Users via AXL


Have CUCM 6.x integrated with CUC 2.1 via SCCP.

CUCM has valid and operable LDAP-integration with Microsoft AD.

Cisco Unity Conneciton is fresh install.

Now I need to import users located in CUCM db to CUC via AXL interface.

I've configured CUCM as phone system & AXL cfg for it in CUC Administration.

Then if I go to the "Tools | Import Users" there are a_l_m_o_s_t all users from CUCM db except several ones.

I've made an analyze of possible causes ot this and found the following (please, see the attachment also):

- There is read-only field on End-User Configuration page called 'Number of Digits needed for the Unique AA Name'

- Users successfully uploaded into CUC via AXL have no this field at all (1st case), or the value of 1 (2nd case)

- Failed to be uploaded users has this value of 0 (3rd case)

I've looked through Microsoft AD interface to look for this parameter and found nothing.

Any ideas of how to allow these "0-valued" users to be import into CUC will be greatly appreciated.

Can you send a test message? What port are you trying to hit? 443? When you send the test message, you should get "Test message successfully sent to AXL server ....."

Only users with "primary extension" assigned will show up in UCON via AXL import, make sure that the users in doubt have these set.
