CUCM Operating System Administrator Password Recovery | does not work

I have fallowed this link in order to reset OS Admin password of CCUm version 8.6 with no luck:

I believe we have to wait for a tac suport to us etheir magic , thank you though

Are you able to get into the utility and follow the prompts completely or are you getting stopped somewhere? If you are able to go through all the prompts and change the password but teh password doesnt "take" then you will need to get a TAC case opened so an engineer can use their magic root access tool to get in for you.
