CUE connectivity issues

I have CUE 2.1.3 on 2821 router, which was working fine until I upgraded the IOS of the router to 12.4 and upgraded the CME to 3.3.

I can not ping the service-module from anywhere except the router, thus I cannot connect to the web GUI. I've tried using unnumbered IP as well as an IP address. I can ping the service-engine IP fine, any clues?

Have you set a default route for the ip address of the service-engine ?

if CME is 10.1.11.4 and service engine has ip address 10.1.11.5 which is entered using command,

int s0/0

service-module ip address 10.1.11.5 255.255.255.0

service-module ip default-gateway 10.1.11.4

you also need a static route to 10.1.11.5 as follows.

ip route 10.1.11.5 255.255.255.255 service-engine0/0

Is this route in place ?

I have default route, the static route is only required when unnumberd IP is used.

What is the Ethernet port on the NM-CUE used for, I have nover plugged it in, is it necessary?

Chris

That interface is disabled. Check this link
