CUPS 8.6 and MS Lync 2013 Inter-domain federation without ASA
I am after some advice if anyone is experienced with configuring inter-domain federations please?
I have the need to federate a Cisco CUPS 8.6 cluster with a MS Lync 2013 cluster. The documentation assumes that this would be over the Internet so requries and ASA and Edge Server on each network respectively.
My requirements are on a private network so there is potentially no need to use these devices, but my question is, is it possible to set up without the ASA and edge server?
