Custom Attributes with existing Exchange 5.5 server
I am about to install a Unity 3.1 server with an existing Exchange 5.5 site. When installing Unity what custom attributes are written to the user's mailbox. The customer currently overwrites many of the custom attributes 1 - 10 on a weekly basis to ensure the information stays consistent. Am I correct in my understanding that only the hidden custom attributes of 11 - 15 are affected by an installation of Unity?
Re: Custom Attributes with existing Exchange 5.5 server
In Exchange 5.5 Unity 3.1 only writes to custom attributes 12 and 14 which are, of course, hidden from the user.
We also write to the Voice-Mail-Flags, Voice-Mail-Password, Voice-Mail-Greetings and Voice-Mail-User-ID attributes which Microsoft added in 5.5... these are, again, not visible to the admins unless they're in looking at raw properties.
