daisy-chained IP phones

I have a question about daisy-chained IP phones as follows: switch---IP phone---IP phone---PC.

Is it possible ? Thank you very much.

Re: daisy-chained IP phones

Yes, you can do that. But be aware, you won't get inline power to the second phone, if you even use it in the first phone connected to the switch.

Yes. Also be aware that if you plan to use separate VLANs for voice and data, that the 1st IP phone's voice will be in the voice VLAN, the 2nd IP phone's voice will be in the data VLAN, and the PC will be in the data VLAN.

The reason for this is that there is only CDP between the switch and the first phone.

Re: daisy-chained IP phones

Hi,

i have daisy chained two IP Phones and one PC:

switch--ip phone--ip phone--pc. Without any changes it works fine.

Both IP Phones are in the same operational VLAN 10. The data VLAN is 68.
