DBLHelper?

I have a subscriber in secure mode that is getting its updates from the publishers "publication".

All its services and media resources are up and running. Resources and Phones can register to it.

However, if I run DBLHelper on the pub I do not see that one subscriber out of the 6 total servers in the cluster.

Where does DBLHelper look to get its information, SQL's Agents? A Flat File? or DCDirectory?

Thanks!

Brian

Re: DBLHelper?

It uses a polling system back to the R/W database that is stored on the Pub, and uses the sa login to authenticate. If you need to reestablish the DB connection, try this link:

Re: DBLHelper?

That is the exact link I used to create the subscription the first time. Everything replicates, but DB just does not see the server.

Thanks for you hepl though and now I know its a SQL issue I will try to figure out why.

Re: DBLHelper?

I've ran into this in the past and actually I just went into the Callmanager Group on the PUB and removed the SUB and reinstalled it, which involves removing the subscription from SQL, similarly to the way you would if replacing server hardware. Here is a link to the process:
