DC Directory Installation Failure

Hi,

I'm having a problem installing a Subscriber for a CallManager 3.2(3) Publisher. When I install the Sub it does not install DC Directory. The log states that it did not install because the ConfigStatus registry key was not found. I have never had this problem before ... I do not get any errors during the installation of CallManager and it completes ok and reboots. I can then access the Admin pages and look at devices but not users (obviously because it can't find the directory). If I look in the registry in the "Directory Configuration" key instead of having similiar information to the publisher, it simply has one key which tells it where the publisher is. I have double checked my lmhosts and hosts files and they are fine. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Alan

Re: DC Directory Installation Failure

Hi Allan,

It is a fresh install of .3.2(3), or an upgrade?

The password for DC Directory Manager is not using special characters?

You may gather:

C:\dcdsrvr\log

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Cisco\Logs

If you have already tried to reinstall, you may open a TAC case with us.
