DC Directory pauses arbitrarily, so it seems

Several CallMangers were recently upgraded from 3.3.3 to 4.1.3 sr2a. since that time, every now and then the DC Directory pauses as if there were a backup but it is usually during the day and it happens on the subscriber. Is there something in 4.1.3 that that runs in the daytime that would cause this? Below are some of the events form the logs. Thanks.

Re: DC Directory pauses arbitrarily, so it seems

Could you please check memory requirements and that you have enough C: drive space.

The DC service should not start and stop every day. It looks the journal file has been corrupted. Can you please goto the C:\dcdsrvr\run\dcx500\journal. Please rename this file to other name and restart the DC directory service, a new journal file will be created.

Re: DC Directory pauses arbitrarily, so it seems

The C drive has 23 gigs free on it. What is the impact of the procedure you describe? Can it be done during business hours, or after hours? Do I stop the DC Directory from the Services? What does that file do anyway? Thanks.

Re: DC Directory pauses arbitrarily, so it seems

Journal file is history of use.

You can do it during bussiness hours.
