DCDirectory Error

Many error messages about DC Directory occur in my CallManager systens. There are two MCS7835 servers and

configure for a group. Below statement is error message in Windows2K event log.

Primary CallManager (imt-cm3a): We have received an error form ourpartner DSA which suggests a configuration problem with our shadowing agreement.

Secondary CallManager (imt-cm3b):We have recevied a message for a shadowing agreement whichdoes not exist.

/o:cisco.com/cn=DCDSERVER /cn:imt-cm3a

It's seen like a directory replication trust problem.

The callmanager version is 3.0(11).

Thanks.

Re: DCDirectory Error

I have the same configuration and I'm seeing the same DC Directory messages in the event viewer. I posted it in this forum a few days ago but no response yet.

If you get an answer please let me know.

thanks

Re: DCDirectory Error

You may need to rebuild the DC Directory replication agreement between the servers. Check the following URL:

Re: DCDirectory Error

Which part specifically said that? Was it after it tried to save the Apps information? You will get that error if you are not using IP-IVR or AA. If this is not the problem can you please paste the full output of what you see running avvid_save?

Re: DCDirectory Error

With the help of you,we finally solved the problem.

But during installation process. There are two error message were happened.

Publisher:Saving PA Node Information...Error MLK0039

Export of tree failed:DumpTree of /o=Cisco.com/ou=ccn

/cn=CiscoPA failed.

Error MLK0045.Failed to export Tree.

Subscriber:Restoring Admin Information...Error MLK0005.Failure adding directory entry.Entry skipped.

Name of entry:/o=cisco.com/ou=Admins.

I think it become a directory permission problem.

Does it important to system or this procedure?

But any error message in W2K event log never happened again.

Thanks .

Re: DCDirectory Error

The first error is normal if you are not using the Cisco Personal Assistant product.

The second error is also normal.

Dave:

It looked like the error messages were after it tried to save the Apps info so I continued the process. The Publisher piece seemed to go successfully but when I did the Subscriber I got the following error messages after the reconfigure the DCD server database step:

Re: DCDirectory Error

Rob, for a subscriber CallManager, the syntax is:

avvid_scfg

It appears what you did was:

avvid_scfg &ltdbName>

which is not correct.
