DCDirectory Software Error event message

There is lot of the following events messages in the application event log

on the CallManger server:

Event Type: Information

Event Source: DCDirectory

Event Category: Software Error

Event ID: 7419

Date: 2/11/2003

Time: 1:41:11 PM

User: N/A

Computer: CALLMANAGER1

Description:

(DSA DSA LDAP(48) Proc 1540, Sev 12)

An LDAP client has issued a request specifying a control which is not supported.

From remote address: 172.16.1.101 [note CallManager publisher address]

On Connection ID: 44

Name of control: 2.16.840.1.113730.3.4.2

Was control critical: False

DN of client: /o=cisco.com/cn="Directory Manager"

Does anybody know what does this message means and how to stop it?

Hi, these are messages generated when LDAP client is trying to access ServerControl that is not supported by DC directory server. They are informational and can be safely ignored. There was a bug (CSCdw33821) filed against this but was closed by the developers because these msgs are informational and not service impacting.
