Delay digit

I have 2 ALCATEL 4200 with 2 different software version. I have 2 2610 with 4E&M. The problem is, if i want to make a call by the far ALCATEL 4200, i need do put one extra digit to make the phone call to get out. Like, i press 456... ; in the far router, in dialer pots, destinattion-pattern 456..., prefix 4456, so the CO wont catch the first digit but the others will. I know that is some timers i can configure but i dont know exactly who it is. Any ideas, please.

Re: Delay digit

Try to put one or more commas at the front of the prefix command, this will cause the router to delay before sending the first digit. For example, instead of prefix 4456, try prefix ,,4456

Re: Delay digit

I have the same scenario, ALCATEL 4200 working with CISCO 1750.

My problem is when I dial 401 to get dialtone from

the voice port of the router this is too short. The router can not get all of the digits dialed.

I would apreciate if you can give some tips in order to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance,
