Delay in answering and ending calls

I have been experiencing sporadic delays on multiple phones when answering and hanging up calls. The delay happens with both the handset/receiver buttons, the answer/endcallsoftkeys, as well as with Call Attendant. Any info regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

What's the CPU utilisation on the Call manager?

I've seen phones go into slo-mo when the CPU hits 100% such as when using BAT or adding an MOH file. The net effect is similar to what you describe, though everything slows down, like hit the speaker button and wait 2 seconds for dial tone.

It fluxuates from 3% to spikes at 80% but usually hovers around the 7-10% range
