Problem with 10- 15 second delay on outgoing calls throug PRI on a 7200 router.
Dial Peer is straight forward.
Destination pattern .......
7 digit dialling.
I have a big suspicion problem is with Call Manager not IOS gateway.
Any Ideas,
Thanks

If you dial the outgoing number, followed by the # key - does the call forward without delay?
If so, then you are hitting the interdigit timeout timer. The reason for this is that CallManager still thinks there is a potential match for your dial plan. You can verify this by looking at detailed Cisco CallManager traces.

Yes the call does forward without a delay when the # key is pressed at the end.
I have a route filter on this route pattern.
Route filters have the following clauses.
end of dialing does not exists
area code does not exists
country code does not exits
This still gives delay in dialing 7 digits.
thanks

You may want to try LOCAL-AREA-CODE DOES-NOT-EXIST AND END-OF-DIALING DOES-NOT-EXIST.
You will find more info regarding dial plans and inter-digit timeout here:

you can put the last digit of your route pattern as #. so whenever a user dials his 7 digit number, he needs to press # to complete the call. this will send the digits immed.
