Re: Dial-In from Pots to FXO

If you are using MGCP, simply put the DN of the IP Phone in the Attendant Entry in the CallManager gateway configuration for that gateway. If you are using H323, then do the following:

1. Create a dial peer connnection for the FXO port:

voice-port 1/0/0

connection plar 1234

2. Create a dial peer:

dial-peer voice 1 voip

destination pattern 1234

session target ipv4:192.168.1.1

This config would send all inbound calls to extension 1234 to a CallManager at ip address 192.168.1.1.

Re: Dial-In from Pots to FXO

Great input........ thanks

How can I translate a destination pattern of 8773771234 within call manager ??

I have a 7200 that has ISDN Incoming-Voice.

I setup the dial-peer voice 1 voip

destination-pattern 8773771234

session target ipv4:10.1.1.1

Now I can assign 8773771234 to my phone and the call sets-up ok

Cooool !!!

sooo how can I translate a destination pattern of 8773771234 within call manager ??

Thanks

Re: Dial-In from Pots to FXO

Setup a translation pattern in call manager of 8773771234 and make the called party transform mask the number of the ip phone that you want to ring when that number is called. Translations patterns are under route plan drop down.

Thank you,
