Hi,
I have a Call Manager cluster one publisher & one subcriber. My voice gateway is a 1760 router with FXO cards on it. I have configured 2 dial peer voip one pointing to the publisher & one pointing to the subscriber. I have also issued a preference command on the VOIP peers to handle the outage of any one call manager. In case the publisher is down the second VOIP peer is used pointing to the subscriber. This setup is working perfectly fine but the only problem is incase the publisher is down the call routing is taking about 15 seconds. From the logs I can see that the call first tries to use the VOIP peer pointing to the publisher & after that switches over to the VOIP peer pointing to the subscriber. Is there a way to reduce this delay when switching over from one VOIP peer to another.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
1) create a voice class
voice class h323 1
h225 timeout tcp establish 3
---------------------------------------
assign this voice class to dial-peers
dial-peer voice 17000 voip
preference 1
!- route to primary CM is preferred
destination-pattern XXXX
voice-class h323 1
