dial peer not matching - possable PRI setup issues?
I'm struggling with my new PRI line install. I asked the phone company to pass only three digits. When I debug dialpeer, I see the target number (three digits) and I see the senders number. When I build a dial peer based on the three target digits, 7.. in this case, I don't match. Just for grins, I added a dialpeer with the originators phone number as it appears in the debug and it matches. What is wrong?

Add the command 'direct-inward-dial' under the POTS dial peer to allow the router to process the DNIS (Called number) that the telco provides you. Without this command, the router will accept the ISDN setup message, then play a secondary dial tone to indicate the called number should come as inband tones.
