Dial-Peers + CME

Hi,

I need a pointer for a decent location on configuring dial-peers, at the moment I have the following -

dial-peer voice 1 pots

preference 7

destination-pattern 9T

direct-inward-dial

port 0/0/0:15

ephone-hunt 1 sequential

pilot 708770

list 1001, 1002, 1003, 1005, 1007, 1004, 1006

final 8010

With which I managed to get my CME working (I have 3 hunt groups with different pstn numbers), however I now want to amend this so I can trial Stonevoice IVR. The documentation isnt much help and I would like a more broken down basic guide to dial-peers.

Thanks

Re: Dial-Peers + CME

Hi

Have a look at this documentation for an overview, then maybe come back if you have some more specific questions I guess???

Re: Dial-Peers + CME

Thanks Aaron,

The document is answering all my questions, before Ive been relying on the Cisco IP Comm Express book which proved about as much use as a chocolate teapot

Re: Dial-Peers + CME

Glad it was useful - the CME manual is quite good at explaining the SCCP side of things but doesn't really detail the generic IOS stuff you need to know at all...

p.s. please rate helpful posts :-)
