I have a customer that switched their PRI service. They went from an AT&T PRI to a 3rd party provided circuit. Now they are complaining that they can no longer dial 9.0 for the operator or 9.00 for an international operator. They only have a 9.@ route pattern in the CCM and there is not route pattern for them on their VG200. This is an H.323 gateway. I did not do the original config on this system but there was never a route pattern for this. These are their dial peers:
dial-peer voice 99 pots
incoming called-number 4200
destination-pattern [2-9]..[2-9]......
progress_ind alert enable 8
direct-inward-dial
port 1/0:23
forward-digits 10

Now they said that they had the ability to dial this until the line was switched. Could this be an AT&T service that the new provider doesnt offer? I have never even heard of dialing 9.00 to get an international operator. Can anyone help?

Since this is a h323 gateway and I do not see a route pattern to send 0 or 00 out, I doubt it worked before. Only other thing I can think of is if they have any translation pattern in their Callmanager, for patterns 0 and 00 which are being translated to some ATT specific operator numbers.

No they didnt have translation patterns either. I had the customer contact the PRI provider and they informed him that it is a service that they do not provide. That explains that.
