Dialpeer question

Folks,

I have the following dialpeers configured on my ccme, when i dial a number 86171111111 it still matches dialpeer 1005 and send only 7 digits, why is ccme not chooosing the most specific dialpeer.!

dial-peer voice 1005 pots

destination-pattern 8[2-9]......

port 0/1/0:23

forward-digits 7

!

dial-peer voice 1006 pots

destination-pattern 8617.......

port 0/1/0:23

forward-digits 10

Re: Dialpeer question

Well my best guest is that it gets confused by the defferent lenght of the dialed string. You know that outbound dial-peers are matched on digit by digit basis and when a full match exist it forwards the call.

so try like that:

dial-peer voice 1005 pots

destination-pattern 8[2-9]T

port 0/1/0:23

forward-digits 7

!

dial-peer voice 1006 pots

destination-pattern 8617T

port 0/1/0:23

forward-digits 10

it showld work that way:)
