DID and Calling Party Transform Mask

I have a block of DIDs that I'm now using with my new PRI circuit. I want the called party to see the originators number. I use a Calling Party Transform Mask of 20612345XX to prepent the first 8 numbers and keep the last two. This is entered in the route pattern configuration.

The problem - I have several phones that don't need DID numbers and have extensions outside of the DID range. They are using the same Calling Party Transform Mask and thus present a number that isn't ours. I'd like to present a generic number when one of these phones place an outside call.

What are other's doing about this?

Thanks,

Patrick Brown

Re: DID and Calling Party Transform Mask

You will have to set the Calling Party mask on each of the Phone Lines. You can set the mask of the invalid DID phones to 2061234500 or whatever.
