Please specify what is your ultimate goal?

Sending the calls to proper Call signaling Network point? IVR application etc...

Can you please attach the POTS dial peer and the VoIP one?

Thanks,

The goal is to have incoming calls to the dial-peer match another dial-peer for store and forward faxing. This is the first response I've gotten so I'll go into depth of what I am doing.

I have been able to get faxing to work, but every call that comes into the system goes through the fax IVR, 'select 1 for voice start for fax'. This is accomplished with the following, which works.

Dial-peer voice 1 pots

application detect_fax

destination-pattern T

information-type fax

direct-inward-dial

port 1/0:0

forward-digits all

What I would like to accomplish is replacing the above with the following so that any dialed number to 555500X goes through the fax ivr. Then all calls, say to the main office number 123-1234 goes to the application IVR as shown below, under the dotted lines.

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 555500.

direct-inward-dial

port 1/0:0

dial-peer 2 pots

application detect_fax

destination-pattern 555500.

information-type fax

direct-inward-dial

dial-peer voice 5000 voip

destination-pattern 555500.

session target ipv4:10.5.1.4

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

codec g711ulaw

dial-peer voice 5 mmoip

application fax_on_vfc_onramp_app out-bound

incoming called-number 55500.

information-type fax

session target mailto:$d$@detroit.com

mdn

dsn success

.......................................................................

To system IVR

dial-peer voice 2 pots

destination-pattern 1231234

direct-inward-dial

port 1/0:0

dial-peer voice 1234 voip

destination-pattern 1231234

session target ipv4:10.5.1.4

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

codec g711ulaw

This doesn't work! With the direct-inward-dial the caller receives a busy signal
